As many of you may recall, I bought a couple of weeks ago a Seiko 7T32-6A5A in good condition, but with a date setting problem. The date setting was not working at the switch of the day, nor using the quick date set function of the movement. I knew what the problem could have been, so I set some time aside today to get to it, and solve it.

The problem is quite simple: the date setting wheel was damaged or worn out, so all I needed to do, was to swap the wheel and... problem solved!

I made a small video to show in detail the worn out date setting wheel, and another one to show the necessary steps to replace it with a new one (taken in my case from a non-working 7T32 movement I keep for spares.
