Any advise for locating a new or used band for my Seiko? I love this watch but can't locate a band. Any help out there?

No easy advice really, Steve, because the original bracelets are pretty hard to come by, nowadays. :/

What you do need to clarify, though, is: which version of the 7A38-7020 you're actually looking for one for:

Either the all stainless version (Seiko p/n B1171S) as used on the taupe-coloured dial 7A38-7020 SAA009J (and 7A38-7029) ....

Or the two-tone version with gold-plated centre link bars (Seiko p/n B1171C) as used on the light grey dialed 7A38-7020 (SAA010J).

Here's the difference:

I found this NOS p/n B1171S on eBay in the UK back in May 2010:

By the way, although these bands have subtly different Seiko part numbers (S suffix versus C) ....

Both are stamped B1171.E - either on the underside of the centre 10mm joining link, or the outermost first bracelet link.

Sometimes sellers will describe them as such (especially if they're not in original Seiko packaging with the part numbers on). ;)

Not a chance !! :o

Besides, that one's now fitted to the 7A38-7029 in my first photo. Go find your own. :P

Like I said, Steve - if you're prepared to do a little legwork yourself, these things aren't that difficult to find.

Partial copy and paste from my most recent post in The lower end & bottom of the 7Axx barrel thread:

The watch was clearly water damaged, but probably would have yielded a half decent B1171S bracelet, and quite a bit more besides:
