Seiko 7A38 - by the numbers

How do you rate the 46xx movements, Don? I've been ignoring these (and 41xx, 43xx, 75xx, 78xx) and concentrating only on 38xx, 39xx, 08xx, 09xx, 48xx, 58xx as well as the later twin quartz movements (99xx, 92xx, 97xx, 96xx, 94xx). 

Lindon, good question. I think they are a middle grade with two jewels, metal gear box and trimmer pot.  I think the Daini 46xx came out in 1976-7 after the Suwa 09xx series.    I have three and now will ckeck them for accuracy, and report back.    Photo lifted off internet.
