Wearing a common-or-garden two-tone 7A38-728A SAA122J this afternoon.
Can't remember when this one last saw the light of day.

Wearing my first 7Axx, a 7A48-6000 that just arrived off eBay. Changed the battery, sized the bracelet, but it needs a bit of cleaning up

Absolutely nothing to do with my recent posts in the ongoing Flobaca saga - pure coincidence.

Wearing one of my Yema N8 Flygrafs this afternoon - as a change from the almost habitual Spationaute III's. Going by the tiny chip in the matt black paint, between 70 and 80 on the outer scale, this is the second one I bought, off eBay Germany, way back at the end of January 2012.
I just noticed this thread has now received 150,000 views !

A bit of understated bling this afternoon: another two-tone 7A38-728A - basically the same watch as the top of this page, but this is the plainer SAA128J version, without the gold sub-dial rings.

A "Head" only came up on ebay. Seemed clean! But no Titanium band, so I put a Hirsch "Calif" on it. Seiko 7A28-7069 from Sept. 1984

Better late than never, here's this morning's wrist shot of my newest incoming 7A38 - a not quite mint, but fairly decent example of the titanium 7A38-7120 SAA044J.

Swapped that this afternoon for a fugly Kamatz 517000. I quite like 'em myself.
This is one of 'a few' I've fettled recently as part of a bigger exercise, which involved swapping dials / movements (sometimes replacing hands) cases, straps, to end up with the best condition examples. Here's the half a dozen I completed last week.
You'll get sick of the sight of them soon.

Here's another of those fugly Kamatz 517000's I fettled last week. It's third from the left in the group shot above. I was rather pleased with the way this one turned out. The black / gold sub-dial movement came my way in July 2017, as a well-worn 518000 Oscar Bravo fitted with a hideous bund strap, but apart from the fact that watch's case needed refurbishing, somehow the combination (with the white logarithmic chapter ring) didn't look quite right. So I thought I'd try it in a 517000 case instead. Works better methinks.

This afternoon I've switched to another of those fettled Kamatz 517000's, with the undeniably pretty 'Panda' dial. This is the better of my two 'Panda's, now deservedly re-housed in a 'NOS' watch case. The other one is still a work in progress at the moment, in the process of being converted into a 518000 Oscar Bravo. That'll be even nicer when it's done. I couldn't choose between these two wrist shots. The first is in overall sharper focus, but the second shows the sub-dials better.

Here's something in a similar vein, that I've ended up wearing today. Though it wasn't the watch I'd hoped to be posting a wrist shot of this afternoon. If you've read my update to this thread, which I posted this morning, then you'll already know I was eagerly anticipating the arrival of another Loris Azzaro H900 - same model, but with a 'Gold Panda' dial. I got this one out, planning to do a side-by-side shot. Somehow I managed to miss the postman's knock and found a card on the doormat instead !!

Here's a couple of wrist shots of my most recently acquired 7A38-701B 'Vulcan'. I've actually had it for 3 months (bought it in December last year), but with one thing and another, hadn't got around to taking any photos of it before today.

I've been messing about with a batch of Kamatz 507000's this morning (that's the much reduced size Boys / Ladies version). As I had a couple of doubles (same dial colour), I'd planned to break them up for parts - basically just for their movements, because not much else is useful. Anyway, I took pity on them - and even ended up rebuilding this, from the 'leftovers'.
You may remember that well-worn case / bracelet combo' once held a 'Baby Panda' dial. That's been re-housed in a NOS 507000 case. I'm just waiting for the straps I ordered last week to arrive.
