I think I can safely predict yet another (15th) revision within the next few hours.

Well, perhaps I did, but not one with any corrections that I could see.

In reply to my question to the seller, against their 14th listing, pointing out their error of '1979' versus date of manufacture of 1983,

I received a message which included the sentence: And, would really make a difference in age of 4(?) years ??? ASS HOLE!!!

Their description was subsequently partly amended from the 22nd re-listing onward, to read:

THIS AUCTION IS FOR EXTREMELY RARE, early 1979-83, LARGE VINTAGE SEIKO ....

Here's the 15th listing (while it lasts) and the third at the risible Buy-it-Now asking price of $690 !!

http://www.ebay.com/itm/251237577980

To view this manic seller's previous (currently 14 now 31) listings which they've ended early, in the last 2 weeks, please follow this link:

http://www.ebay.com/sch/m.html?_odkw=&_ipg=50&_sop=13&_osacat=0&_since=15&LH_Complete=1&_ssn=martinachertok&_trksid=p2046732.m570.l1313&_nkw=Stunning%2CRare+Vintage+Chronograph&_sacat=0&_from=R40

That initial search was set up to find the seller's ended auctions over the (maximum) 15 day period, which was exceeded on March 6th.

This revised search will eventually give a fuller picture over 90 days, although their most recent ended listings are omitted from results.

(eBay doesn't include an item in 'history' for completed auctions, whilst it is still currently starred as 'new'; there's a delay of 24 hours).

http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_nkw=STUNNING%2CRARE+VINTAGE+SEIKO+CHRONOGRAPH&_in_kw=1&_ex_kw=&_sacat=0&_okw=&_oexkw=&_adv=1&LH_Complete=1&_udlo=&_udhi=&_samilow=&_samihi=&_sadis=200&_fpos=&_fsct=&LH_SALE_CURRENCY=0&_sop=12&_dmd=1&_ipg=50

(Listing #12 with 'KEIKO' in the title is omitted from the search result, due to the inability to run 'wild card' partial searches online).

Why don't we all bombard her at the same time with ridiculous offers of $5 and $10. :D

You never know-she may get sick of it just like we have with her stupid listings-or someone may get lucky and end up with a bargain!!!

Good Morning, Con. :)

Didn't you see I already did on the previous listing ? :|

I took her at her word (which incidentally isn't worth 10 cents):

GO AHEAD---- MAKE ME AN OFFER -----ONE NEVER KNOW WHAT I MAY ACCEPT!

I put in a perfectly reasonable offer of $50 - which they declined:

I'm gonna hang fire on making an offer, she's gonna have to start shuffling the price down a little southwards for me!

Think this thread should carry a warning about multiple posts  ;)

Morning Paul,

Burning the midnight oil I see!!!

No- I didn't go in to the links you had posted- I think after the 14th re-listing I gave up looking at the finer details ;)

I think the seller needs a hobby of some sort - she obviously has nothing else to do apart from re-list eBay items.

Think this thread should carry a warning about multiple posts  ;)

Indeed, James.

So, rather than keep adding a new post for each new re-listing, I've decided that until there's any significant changes in their listings ....

I'm just going to keep a running list in the second post on this page, by going back and post-editing it. Which I can do ad nauseam. :D

PS - I've also post-edited my first post at the top of this second page, by adding in something that I hadn't mentioned previously ....

Just to give readers an insight into this seller. ;)

Oi !!! :o I thought you were complaining about the number of posts in this thread, James ? :P

It isn't actually a new 'main picture' (as such) at all, James.  They've just re-ordered them.

That poorly lit 'head on' image was the one they used in their very first listing (before they added the better lit photos and revised it):

New main picture!!

By the way, I forgot to mention ....

In the latest (currently 19th) iteration of their eBay listing it states: This is actual photos of this watch taken on March 1-2013.

Explain why it shows WED 20 on the dial then ? Wednesday 20th February 2013.

So not only deluded, greedy, rude, ignorant and incompetent, but a dishonest seller too.

New main picture!!

Now we do have a new main picture :D and a slightly revised description: This is actual photos of this watch taken on March 2-2013.

Indeed, at first glance, at least half of the 12 images seem to have been replaced. Not that it's going to make the slightest difference.

However, if you scan through all 12, there are still 4 photos (from the second set) which show THU 21 (Thursday 21st Februrary). ;)

Well, I must admit I'm intrigued.

Not only did manic Martina's 19th revised listing for this 7A38-7000 make it through the night, but it has lasted a whole 24 hours.

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/251238039472

Do you think they could actually be in it for the long haul, this time ? Meaning the whole 7 days duration of the listing.

I guess She is trying to sell to prospective ebayer's who search newly listed items.

This can be the only feasible reason for re-listing over and over in short durations.

Looks crazy though when you use Paul's link above!

I think there may be some factual basis to Chris's theory.

While I've been perusing their listings, I've also noticed a Tudor (Rolex) Prince popping up quite a few times as well.

Without doing a detailed search, as I've done on the 7A38-7000, here's a link to 9 previously ended listings for that watch:

http://www.ebay.com/sch/m.html?_odkw=&_ipg=50&_sop=13&_osacat=0&_since=15&LH_Complete=1&_ssn=martinachertok&_trksid=p2046732.m570.l1313&_nkw=STUNNING+ROLEX-PRINCE+OYSTERDATE+TUDOR&_sacat=0&_from=R40

It started off at $1490 on 27th February, and has similarly gone through various revisions: photos and description / working condition.

At one point it was $2390. From that summary selection, it appears it might have sold yesterday (best offer accepted against $940) ....

But today it's back again: http://www.ebay.com/itm/261178571593 - for the 10th time (that I've seen).

So it would seem that this extremely shady practice of ending early and re-listing is standard modus operandi for this eBay seller.

Not only does it make it difficult for any potential buyer to follow, but it's also a way of temporarily avoiding paying eBay listing fees.

One person alone reporting their items, each time they're ended early and re-listed, is likely to have little or no effect.

But if they should end this current listing for the 7A38-7000 within the next 6 days, I think we'd be justified in reporting the next one.

As if anybody really cares any more, but for the benefit of those amongst us still trying to keep track of manic Martina's 7A38-7000 ....

This morning we're on listing # 23. The Buy-it-Now asking price has now been reduced to $490 - back to where it was 5 days ago.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/261180019688

Note the added comment: **NO SALE OR SHIPPING TO GREAT BRITAIN**. I wonder why that could be ? They've had offers.

Listing # 25. We now have an all-time high price: $790 - and yet another demonstration of the crass stupidity of this seller.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/251240038378

Note addition to the comment: **NO SALE OR SHIPPING TO GREAT BRITAIN or GERMANY**. How much did you offer, Andre ? :lol:

Belated edit to this post (rather than turn over to the next page): Listing # 27 and Holland is now added to the list of banned countries:

Well done, Harry !!!

Bloody hell. That's a first? Britain or Germany!

Silly woman should just put CONUS only. Oh and halve the price. And then halve it again. :)
